January 2011 - Ilderton Motor Vehicle Project

In October 2010, The Ilderton Motor Project closed its doors after 42 years of service providing education and training to young people. As an organisation that has many years in association with The Ilderton Project, Orbit Training could not see such a successful project fold. Orbit Training accordingly has joined forces with New Global Image (NGI) to revieve The Ilderton Project and insure that it continues the good service for young people and the community.

October 2010 - Chattenden Motor Cycle Project

In August 2010, Orbit Training was asked by L&Q Housing Association to deliver a motor cycle programme to the young people of the Chattenden Estate, Kent. This programme was deemed such as success for all involved that L&Q and Medway Youth Services asked Orbit Training to provide a more sustainable project. As a result Orbit designed and built a fixed motor cycle project within the grounds of Chattenden Community Centre. This project has now been successfully running for over 15 months working with the young people of Chattenden and due to its propularity, it is now open to young people within the Medway area.

For more information and availability on the Chattenden Project, please feel free to contact us.
